The hall was alive with the sound of music
Thanks for everyone that came along and made our Sound of Music evening such a success.
It was a wonderful night of singing, enthusiasm and good humour.

We’re on a break now, back at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20th April.
Sing ‘The Sound of Music’

We’re holding an evening dedicated to singing songs from Rodger and Hammerstein’s famous musical and film, The Sound of Music.
Anyone can join us on Wednesday 23rd March at St. Margaret’s Church Hall.
The evening, led by Music Director Carl Speck, will allow both experienced and non-
experienced singers to join in the fun with no need to read music.
A lively and friendly atmosphere, complete with drinks, will give you the chance to experience singing in a choir of 40+
Wednesday 23rd March, 7.30 – 9.30pm
We’re back on 13th January

18th November rehearsal in the church
If you notice a lot of talk about dahlias, compost and potting sheds at this week’s rehearsal – you may have turned up in the wrong place.
We’re rehearsing in the church on Wednesday 18th November while the Roehampton Garden Society hold their AGM in the hall.
Normal service resumes next week, 25th November.
A Saturday at the Sunflower Café
On Saturday 3rd October we were tapping, shaking and singing along with guests at the Platt Centre, Putney.
The centre hosts the Sunflower Café – a monthly event for people with dementia, their family and carers.
We really enjoyed providing the afternoon’s entertainment and were delighted that everyone joined in.
Triangles, rattles and cymbals were put to good use and we all came away with a smile.
Don’t forget – 19:30 in the church
This week sees the start of a new and improved rehearsal times.
Joins us every Wednesday from 19:30 – 21:30.
And for one week only, we’re rehearsing in the church – next door to the hall we’re usually in.
See you then!
