Joining the choir

We rehearse once a week on Wednesday evenings, usually following the school terms.

There are no auditions and you don’t need to be able to read music. – all that matters is you enjoy singing.

There’s no need to bring anything to your first rehearsal – just come along and see what you think.

If you enjoy it and fancy coming back for more, we each pay £6 per session. This goes towards the hire of the hall and the services of our musical director.

If you prefer, you can pay for a whole term in advance at a reduced price.

    • Hi Aoibheann. Sorry, only just seen your post…do come along this Wednesday and see if you like the look of us!

  1. Hello! I’d be really interested in coming along but understand so near to Christmas this might not be ideal-would it be better to start in the new year?
Look forward to hearing from you!

    • Hi Sally, you’re very welcome to join any time. We’re currently mid-way through rehearsing for a Christmas concert, so if you’d rather join when we’re all learning a new repertoire, you could wait until January. Either way, we hope to see you soon.

  2. Hello,
I would like to come along next week or the one after, but will you be rehearsing during the summertime or will you be taking a break?
    Thanks!
    Floriane

    • Hi Floriane,

You’re very welcome to come along in the next few weeks – we’re currently refining the repertoire for our summer concert.

Yes, following our rehearsal on the 12th and concert on the 15th July we’ll be taking a summer break. We’ll be back in September, exact date TBC, so keep checking our calendar here.

      Hope to see you soon!

      • OK, thank you! I think it probably makes more sense to join you in September, but I’ll see to come and see you sing 🙂
