Dover House Singers
… and a happy New Year.
We’re taking a break for Christmas – we’ll be back in strong voice on Wednesday 8th January 2014.
If your New Year resolution is to try something new and meet people – we could be just what you’re looking for.
Earlier this week, the Dover House Singers met for the first rehearsal of the new term.
After catching up on the exciting summers everyone has enjoyed, it was time for a warm up and the first stab at some new pieces – including If Ye Love Me by Thomas Tallis and Siyahamba, a South African hymn.
There’s still lots of time to join in this term, so do get in touch if you’d like to come along.
Finally, thanks to putneySW15.com for popping us on their front page this week.
After a well earned summer break, the Dover House Singers resume rehearsals this Wednesday 4th September at 8pm.
The start of a new term is always exciting as we start learning new songs together.
The autumn term runs through until Christmas and you can see the full list of rehearsal dates here.
A date for the end of term concert is still to be confirmed, but is likely to be early in the New Year.
New members are always welcome. Have a look around our site to find out a bit more about us and where we rehearse.
